Ain't it queer...
Ain’t it queer,
That we dress to our best,
So we may look good and nice,
In the eyes of those that are not so dear?
Ain’t it queer,
That our face sports a smile,
So we may not displease others,
But we take no such pains for those near?
Ain’t it queer,
That we spend a lot on a dress,
We use for an occasion outside home,
But choose a simple one, that in the house we wear?
Ain’t it queer,
That we fight more with our spouse,
When we can’t spend more time with them,
To share the burdens and pleasures of life that we bear?
It isn't queer...
It isn’t queer,
That we choose to be ourselves,
In the midst of people that are close,
And take care to impress others, merely out of fear!
It isn’t queer,
That we all want to belong,
To a larger group called the society,
And to be accepted and wanted by at least one peer!
It isn’t queer,
That we wish to make those happy,
Who helped us tide over rough moments,
And ensured that we return to happiness and cheer!
It isn’t queer,
That we change for our loved one,
Again, only to end up on opposite camps!
In the end, the very love turning
us against each other!
Love, between two people gets completed, when they move in opposite directions to accommodate each other... |
Author's note:
Love between two people gets completed when they move in opposite directions to accommodate each other, and then finally meet at the same place.
When you feel that you have reached the farthest point away, hold on!
