The burden of a new dawn!

The dried leaf hanging from the twig,
Woke up to another new dawn.
The burden of hanging in there big,
When every last hope was gone!

It seemed like a never ending pause,
To a life, awaiting the final call.
He prayed for a strong wind to toss
The tree, so he may finally fall!

Each day began with a prayer, a hope,
Reminding the maker of his turn.
But wait he must, and patiently cope,
Till He marks a place for his return!

The time has to be right for every event,
Even for death to descend on earth!
So the brown leaf waited, his head bent,
Bowing before death, for his re-birth!
