Isn’t it a weird world in which we live?
Where everyone wants to take, no one wants to give!
A weird world indeed it is,
Where war is fought to restore peace!
To save a human life on one side of a line,
If you killed another, a badge will shine!
A weird world indeed it is,
Where opportunities cannot be missed!
Every chance of making money is utilized,
Even if relationships have to be sacrificed!
A weird world indeed it is,
Where ignorance is considered a bliss!
A wedded spouse can be legally hated,
While loving outside a wedding is ill-fated!
A weird world indeed it is,
Where a question answers the unknown quiz!
Questions, in exams, stand correctly answered,
While life’s questions remain largely unanswered!
A weird world indeed it is,
Where people fuss over hers and his!
They protect things that are very precious,
Alas, only to destroy them in anger so vicious!
A weird world indeed it is,
Where ironies happily co-exist!
One hates to love, the other loves to hate,
And yet they have to live life, calling it fate!
